Last October I aquired an unloved, abused, and abandoned 1997 Valk. It was a rusty, corroded mess, with a lot of missing, broken, and butchered pieces.
My wife thought I had lost my mind; she said that maybe I should part it out and recoup a few bucks. I saw a project,....no a challenge to build a Bobber that was different from any other Valk I'd ever seen.
I took some inspiration from "EXCILE CYCLES".
I wanted to save as much money as I could by using good used parts, I traded, bartered and bought some at swap meets, got a few parts donated by VRCC members, and sold a few parts from that bike to pay for others.
I had to have the gas tank repaired twice; the second time because I dropped it while fooling with the fuel valve and no mounting screws. But it is now completed.
