Default Found some good Roads this weekend

There was a Rocket gathering at Maggie Valley this past weekend and Ogre (Andy from VRCC days) and Todd and Annie, my friends from Charlotte came over for a couple days. We decided to take a ride and Andy introduced me to Little Switzerland, It's a cute little burg on the BRP. The roads getting to it are an absolute hoot. The Dragon has nothing on these and the best part is the cops are not all over it, nor is it heavily traveled, but don't tell anyone or it will be ruined as well. A guy that goes by "Blind Kenny" www. blindkenny.com does photos like killboy. Here are some links to us tearing it up.

As you can see, the Rocket will handle (even two up)

There was a little road called 80 that is a blast and it's by Little Switzerland..

Oh there are many cool roads.. That are better then The gap...
We have so many roads here to that make the Gap look like a straight road..You both will have to come this way some time..

Nice pictures. I didn't see any sparklies though. Why did you have a passenger? Didn't she think she could keep up?

Yep Tracy, that's the road! 80 to Little Switzerland and then down 276, turn around and do it all over again!!

Brian, I knew it would be a quick twisty day and she doesn't really like riding like that, so I suggested she ride with me. In hindsight, I should have let her ride her own. I got a little too aggressive and she didn't really appreciate it

that is indeed an awesum place.. I took 226 western loop down the mountainside ( in my truck, had guests and we were doing BRP from I77) and overheated my brakes on the downhill section so much almost lost em... never had that happen in the truck before... I soooo wanted to do it on a bike but havent gone back up there since... need to get back there...

To the east of Little Switzerland is Linnville Falls, a great nuther section of roads... I went there on vacation with Kurt while doing NC/TN/GA ride one year... gotta get back there,,, its not far at all... jeez...

    Timmeah!!

At least you're still able to walk upright. Looked like Todd will be walking hunched over for awhile.

Looking forward to riding it in 9 days.
