    Default The Iceman rides again..

Well, after a long absense from 2 wheels, Im back.
I am taking it slow and refreshing myself to all the does and dont just to be safe, but the bottom line is I am LOVING IT and cant wait to see all my friends again in Maggie Valley. Took Princess Monica for her first ride last night and she loved it. Said it was a far cry from the Valk, but that she felt good on it. Yesterday was my birthday and I cant think of a better gift then to be riding again with my Princess wrapped around me.
    See you all SOON
    Jeff

btw, here is pic. More soon, when I get off of it long enough to wash and shine.. LOL

    Thanks MP
As for this Nape dude.. I am not sure but I bet he would have trouble getting past the border.. LOL
No, I asked him about it and he said he would not be able to make Maggie Valley.
    Maybe the next one.

Nape, I cant imagine the need for more HP. Did you do the butterfly removal? I guess you would have to have the PC3 before you can do it.

    Hey Michael,

Long time no talk my friend! As you can see, I got a new bike finally.....the Concours 1400 is a nice ride, and I am liking it more and more every time I get on it.....I doubt very much I will make Maggie Valley, but I am going to ride down to TN this summer and visit Road Lizard, and was definitely planning on getting hold of you then so I can visit on the way. I hope you and Bev are well!

    Jeff,

The secondary butterflies get removed when the PC3 goes in otherwise the bike is way to lean. I only have about 600 miles on it so far, so likely I will install the pipe right away, and then after another 400 miles or so, I will install the PC3.....which should be just a day of riding except the weather is crappy here this weekend, and if Sunday turns out to be a nice day, the dirtbikes are coming out to play, so the C14 will be unused.......lol.

Take it easy guys, and ride safe!

MP - talk to you soon.

Jeff, I knew you couldn't stay off two wheels for long!! God made some people to travel the world in cages, locked in and afraid, very afraid. Then he made those who carve out their personalities with two wheels, they have risen above their fears and are the ones who truly understand the world as God made us to enjoy it! Wow, I think I have some new material for a sermon, "The Iceman Returns!" Blessings and welcome back! I love that bike, Whiz

That's awesome! I've been drooling over that bike down at the bike shop and in the magazines since it was announced.

Thanks Lamont......I am very hopeful of getting down that way this summer.....I've peeked in here from time to time, but have been bikeless since I sold the FJR in November 06.......but I am loving the Concours, so I hope to ride a lot this year.

    Cheers,

Congrats Jeff! Great choice of bike! Seems like a lot of the Valkyrie crowd has shifted towards the sport tourers.

Yes, some people do have to limit themselves with the motorcycle they ride because they have no control over their right wrist.
