Man TJ, you sure know how to make a guy feel good..... Poor PIBIT anyway. You know he bought that bike in one of his lesser thinking days....

I had a HD salesman the other day tell me those new HD's were good for 300,000 miles before they needed any work.......

I told him there was a Valkyrie in my garage with over 200,000 miles on it, that I would tag along behind any HD to retrieve parts for him on his 300,000 mile venture. Just let me know when so I can get a new set of rubber on the ground and I'd be ready to rumble......... He muttered something under his breath and went over to talk to another gullible looking customer. I went to the parts counter and picked up a Barnett clutch for the kids chopper and went home...

...hey guys, good friends of mine that you are...please know that I had my eyes wide open with excitement when I took the step and bought the Harley...alot more than I can say for the people beside you at a traffic light when you pull up on a goldwing...zzzzzzzz (hey you, wake up, look at me..)...it doesn't matter how much plastic you replace wit psuedo chrome you are still riding a wing, still invisable no matter what you do...I can say this because I have had and ridden one (actually, I have had 5 winngs)... for me, at this time of getting a new bike, it was time for something different.....I may not not be the most mechanically inclined guy (understatement), but I have put alot of miles in the saddle, more than most, and for me there are a a variety of elements that come together to make the "ride", and for me, at this time in my life, it is the "Harley"...if you want to call it an irrational choice, go ahead, but to me it is about your passion, not always your head. And remember, my valk, a very cool, early custom 97 supercharged beazt, this bike is not going anywhere...I do not not see how buying the Harley takes anything away from that. What we ride may not always make sense to others, but as long as we are being true to ourselves and feeding our passion, that's what matters...isn"t that what this club is all about?

Picking on my wing,oh the shame of it all...
    and with that being said
All that really matters is that you're riding.......

If we all had the same taste in bikes, there would only be one brand and one model of that brand. Sound pretty boring to me! I like bikes in general as long as it has enough power to get me the thrill that I look for...but that's me. Personally, I think most would say that I have an over-the-top bike and I would have to agree. I don't think I'm invisible when I pull up to a red light. That being said, I believe that my next bike will be a Wing. Plenty of power, comfort, dependability, great corning capibility and accessories out the ying yang. I personally don't care if I become invisible on a wing. I don't ride for anyone but me. If it gives me what I'm looking for in a bike then I don't care what others think....and if I get tired of being invisible....I'll just pull out the Boss again.
