    Thanks for the update...........

Yes ma'am, I know it sounds cruel, but keep on his case to do things. My mom just gave up when we lost her in 92 and it was all due to her being lazy and not wanting to help herself........

Thoughts, prayers and everything else is a still being sent you guys way as we speak........

Tell Jim that RJ said howdy....... Thanks, ya'll take care of yourself, ya hear?

Wishin for a happy day with all your family.......

Good news Vicky. I've been watching this board for Jim's progress.
Although we met only once at Paducah, tell him I said keep exercising so that he can come home.

Prayers are still there for both of you.

BTW he was a bit better yesterday. He was moving his left arm and touching his chin with his hand. 2 weeks ago, he could barely lift it off the bed. I gave him a good talking to a few days ago and told him if he didn't start exercising himself while he was laying there doing nothing, he was never going to get strong enough to come home. I guess it must have done some good.
Thanks for the update and it was good talking to you the other day. I'll call you again when I can break away.

Glad he's working at it, let him know that there's a whole bunch of us that'll come kick his butt. Keep him busy if he's working at getting better, he doesn't have a chance to think about giving up.

Today, they sure didn't let Jim have much rest! First he had the speech & brain therapist work with him.........she determined there wasn't much wrong with his speech, (he can still bend your ear pretty good), but he does have some short term memory loss. She is giving me brain exercises to do with him, to help improve it. Then the physical therapy people paid him a visit. They made him use this machine with his arms that was similar to pedaling a bicycle. Then they got him in a wheel chair! He pretty much powered himself (not electric) down to the rehab room. There they got him standing between the bars. He is still too weak to walk, but sure is showing improvement! At this rate, maybe he'll get to come home BEFORE all his radiation treatments are done!
