Default Spent the weekend in my Shop

Trying to get the Sabre set up for some distance rides, and at the top of the list is a set of crash bars so I can mount some forward pegs. I don't like what's available to buy, so with a little help from my friends I made exactly what I wanted.

Eggzakery!! The Alabama trip was a big reason I did this. On the Valk I could almost stretch out and take a nap, but on this there was just no way. After about an hour or two, I needed to stop and stretch my legs....until now. I also got my GPS, and XM mounted as well, so bring on spring!

I have my desmog done, new K&N installed, new LED's to install and stacks and packs. Got the packs last week, waiting on everything else to come in. Now it's to @!$ cold to even work in the shop with the kerosene heater going. SHoot that stupid groundhog before next year.

Very professional looking. Where did you get the clamps sitting next to the uninstalled guards in the first pic?

heh heh.... We laid it over to see what was gonna rub first. It's pretty much a tie between the pegs and the bars. And FWIW: He's gonna have to grow a bigger pair to get that bike over that far. I did it once on my Sabre and thought i was a goner!
