Default KewlMetal Fat Fork Front End For The Valkyrie Is Ready To Go

Let me know what you think.
    HDL has them instock.

Item # 182. These "Fat Boy" Fork covers will totally transform the front end of your Valkyrie. They are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, and hard chromed. Installation is simple, see the support section of the website to read the installation instructions. Two O-rings keep the tubes snug and rattle free. The stock turn signals get displaced so we installed the Kury small LED turn signals using the Kewlmetal bullet signal mounting brackets, Item #153.
Buy the whole set as Item #182 for $399.95
Or buy them as individual items:
    Item # 183 - Upper Fat Fork Tubes - $179.95
    Item # 184 - Lower Fat Fork Tubes - $179.95
    Item # 161 - Fork Caps - $39.95

Item # 207. These are beautifully cut by a precision CNC laser, polished to a mirror finish, and then chrome plated. They are extremely durable and will keep their mirror finish even after being blasted by gravel and sand from the road. Our fork guards offer the same, if not more protection to your inner fork tube as the stock fork guards. Made from 1/16 steel. Fits the Valkyrie.

Item # 201. This lower triple tree cover plate is for the Valkyrie. Really dresses up the under side of the lower triple tree. It hides the ugly hard to clean insides of the stock lower triple tree with a beautiful chrome steel plate that installs in minutes and is easy to clean. This fits the Valkyrie with the Kewlmetal Fat Forks, item #182, and also fits stock bikes.

First let me say that I saw your product on Dave Ritsema's Valk at INZANE and it really looked good. On a Standard or Tourer they dress it up nicely.
Second I won a set at INZANE and went to put them on an Interstate. On the Interstate you can't use the upper tubes without some modification as there is a bracket for mounting the fairing on the upper triple tree that wraps 1/2 way around the top of the forks and there is not enough clearance for the Fat Fork tube. I notched out the upper portion to make them work, but it would look nicer if you could make a modified version for the Interstate with maybe a new bevel cut lower for the top o-ring

    Condor,
Thank's for the kind words Bro,
Do you think that you could send me a pic of the mod you did to make them work?
Also don't forget we have a chrome Triple Tree exchange for the Valkyries if you want to chrome the trees to match the Fat Fork Tubes.
    Thanks
    Big Joe.

    Joe,
With the fairing re-installed a photo is next to impossible, but basically what I did was to make a cut about 1 1/2" down the middle and then removed 1/2 of the tube. I just guessed as to how deep to cut and it worked perfect ally, the upper fairing mount now has clearance. The only other little problem is that there is also a lower mount for the fairing that is just above the lower triple tree. This needs to be loosened to allow the tube to bottom out. Total install time for the upper tubes was about 2 hours. That included R&R fairing, R&R handle bars, R&R top triple tree clamp, & figuring out that the lower fairing bracket had to be loosened. I will try to see if I can get some photo's tomorrow & I will e-mail them to you.
By the way they look great as a set.

I ordered the Dragon fork protectors.

    Can't wait!

(had a good excuse for the wife too...they are just replacements for the stock ones that got dinged up in Alaska (they didn't but they are still too dirty to tell!)

I had mine on before leaving for InZane, but decided not to install the upper tubes because I have Corbin Road King Faring (same problem as the Interstate). The flames fit very close to the tubes because of the diameter differences, but the tubes behind the flames are easily cleaned once you get the hang of it. I might do the mod Condor suggests for the upper tubes after I get the steel braided clutch line installed.
