Had a great time at the GW rally at Pigeon Forge. Rode down Friday on US 27, crossed to London on 80 then 25-25E to 441 and into Pigeon Forge.
Everyone there was friendly. The vendors were set for GW, but that did not stop me from buying stuff.
The folks at Sierra were nice, got two license plate antenna for the Chatterbox CB's. There were nice people at a booth called Golden Touch Embroidery from AL. I got some rain boots and rain mittens from them. Wish I had them Friday. The boots had a rubber sole and just fit over your boots with a nylon type of material. KHOCO brand, the boots were 25 and the mitts were 10. Rained all the way in KY then the sun came out when I hit the TN line.
There were lots of nice GW's there. I saw a few Valks. Lots of trikes. Did not see any other Vstroms.
Looking forward to the next rally we get to go to. We only had the one day and did not do any of the rides. I think I enjoyed talking to people and looking around. :D
