Ok, Folks finally got someone to give me all the details on the Ronald McDonald House carnival.
This event will be Saturday May 8th from 1 to 4 pm.
It will be at the house here in Memphis.
I know alot of you are a long ways away but if any of you are looking for a good reason to ride!!! These kids would love to see your bikes, and if you are generous enough to let them sit on your bikes it would mean the world to them!!!
Let me know if you might be coming I will give you directions to the house.
Unfortunately this is on Mothers Day weekend, but think about helping some child smile and letting their mothers see them smile as they are battling cancer.
This is being put together by the Youth group at our church.
They go down once a month and serve the families dinner, and the kids wanted to do something more!! So here it is!!
A carnival for the kids put on by kids!! With some help from the adults too.

Thanks again,
Jon

Jon,
You having many volunteers? Sounds like a worthy cause (and a reason to ride.) Have you posted this on any other board?

Fuzzy,
Haven't gotten many replies from the long distance crowd.
I know this is a bad weekeknd being mothers day and all.
I did have a favorable response from the crew at Rivco.
They are sending me some stuff, don't know what yet, but stuff.
Probably something nice for the person who rides the farthest, and maybe something to do a drawing for.
Them some t-shirts possibly to give to the kids!!!
I have another church group here in Memphis that has a motorcycle ministry that has committed and a few other locals.
The more the merrier!!
I have posted this on Mellow's Website, and other than that I sent out a bunch of e-mails.

Jon,
Send me some information on the event times meeting place etc. So far I'm off that weekend and will be planning on the ride up. Of course, rain, sleet etc. could effect that decision. Any hotels (maybe around Beale Street). Anyone-else from down here interested? Looking at riding up Friday evening and leaving Sunday morning. Any info will help.

You can post info here and send it to me at Fuzzy1957@aol.com
Might want to post the request on the VRCC board.
