Who's going? I plan on being there and taking a few friends from the VTXOA and VRCC.
btw, JP Sonnier and John Charles ,who were both at HotGlue's last year, went down on a sandy road yesterday. Scrapes and a broken bone or 2 but they'll make it. Remember them in your prayers.

Thoughts and Prayers for the bikers down but not out

I'd love to make the ride to HotGlues BBQ but the time and weather factor hurts

distance = 2400 miles
so I have 2 days to get there or
one XXX long ass day to get there and then collapse or
bite the bullet and take a week off
which I may do if I can find another Rider to make the Adventurehttp://jm.g.free.fr/smileys/non-smileys-animated/smiley_abzz.gif

but to all, it is a most worthy journey :biker:

Let me know when you plan to leave - Friday or Saturday. I made my reservation at Howard Johnson Express (same place as last year) for Friday and Saturday.

:D

Laborman, I will go with you on Friday and most likely stay at the same hotel or next door.
Maddog, the bbq is open to anybody who loves bikes and can stay sober enough to leave when its over. Its just outside Houston.

It'll hurt missing that BBQ and seeing you folks. Had rotator cuff surgery a few months back and I'm still getting it back in shape. Never know though.... I might surprise'ya.

Leaving Ft. Lauderdale around the 28th - 30th to New Orleans (stopping in MS. on the way to visit some family) and visit with some friends in Baton Rouge during the week also. I need to do a few repairs on the rental property in Kenner on the 2nd.

Jack, when are you leaving for Houston, would you mind me and possibly the SO joining the group?

C-ya'll soon

JACK, ok. Just let me know what your schedule is, I am flexible. I may come in earlier to work on the rental property. Not to mention, Oysters raw and smoked, Crawfish, Felix's, Port of Call and so much more! :D

Not to mention a good ride and good company. 8)

...you guys pick a time for Friday. My preference is to leave early enough so that we miss the traffic in Baytown. Jack, I plan to take the same route as we did last year....thru Baytown down to NASA Rd. 1, then to the hotel. Hopefully we have MUCH better weather than we did last year running thru Baytown..... Let me know what time you guys want to meet up, where (just outside Baton Rouge like last year?), or.....

I open to leaving early or mid-morning......Whatever we do, we'll enjoy a group ride..........

I'd LOVE to go...but I'm in the same dilemma as Sarge. Too many miles to go, and not enough time to do it in. Central PA-Houston TX and back in a weekend doesn't seem possible....Mebbe if Mosa would loan me that blower?? :biker:

Ya'll have a GREAT time eatin' BBQ. Just remember us up here in the great white North.

Rocket, that would be two (2) 1500's back to back. :)

Mine is 1200 miles but stopping in Tallahassee, MS. and then New Orleans before continuing on. Coming back stopping in New Orlans and then spending the night somerwhere around Orlando.

But Maggie Valley is coming soon and by then the great white North should be green. :D Not to mention the PA reunion ride, so set back and relax, your time is a coming. :D
