Christmas comes early for me!!

:-) :-) It was discovered at work that 15 years ago when I started there they entered the wrong vacation formula into the HR system and they have been short changing me every year ever since...well, as it turns out it has now added up to owing me 18 weeks of paid holiday time :bow1::bow1:...in other words 4.5 paid months off or just paid out...either way, a windfall for me :-):-) It gets even more complicated as I will be telling them I am leaving in the few days for another job long befotre I can ever use up that amount of time se we will have to negoitate something...talk about good timing for me...probably at least a month and a half off before I start my new job and paid out for the rest. Anyway, there is a certain finance director at work who decided to do an audit on the system that i think I will take out to lunch today!! Gotta love it!!

Hey Roy..that would be Friday the 13th in Port Dover which is May 13th this year. And Thunderbolt....sorry, but wrong HR person. Unfortunately, Toronto just got hit with a whack of snow last night and the salt trucks were out all day, so as much as I would like to use some of that holiday time to get to FB's and Hotglue's its looking pretty iffy at the moment :shrug:...looks like it will be a last minute decision based upon roads and weather outlook if this is going to be THE YEAR!
