Monday I went for my final interview and test.

Phew. Passed.

Now I have to wait for up to 6 months for the final step. My date for the swearing in ceremony to become a U.S.A. citizen. It has taken me nearly 18 months to realize a 42 year dream.
:D
I have quite a few friends who want to attend the swearing in ceremony and then I'm going to get pissed, drunk as a skunk, tie one on etc.

I've been so proud when I read posts on this board that celebrate the courage; mental and physical; of Americans who have risked their families, relationships and lives defending what most Americans don't realize they have. It has helped me to know that my dream is the same as so many.

May your god bless you all.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

May your god bless America.
