They look rather gaudy, but it's the protection I want. Might be an overkill, but I'm going to give them a try. I ordered them in black since they didn't offer purple!

I have the Alpinestar Stage boot and love them.
They aren't the armored kind (well not like the off road styles), just the reinforced leather riding boots. Very comfortable, waterproof and even great for walking once I get to my destination.

You are gonna be giving Dennis from Blythe some serious competition with those rascals! :D

Those should be great boots Vickie. Awhile back I was thinking of getting a pair but they didn't come in my width (EEE)at that time. I got Cruiser boots instead, they're waterproof and work great for me. I have short Corbins for short trips.

The NGMC's going to Warner Robbins Saturday to the War Bird Musem. Wanta break those boots in?

I doubt that the boots will be here by then. Jim has to work standby till 10 PM Friday night. I don't think that we will go with y'all Saturday. Thanks for the invite!

No problem. We have two rides per month and informal rides every weekend when we don't have a club ride. Most of our riding is done in eastern Tennessee, northern Georgia and western North Carolina, so it should be easy for y'all to hook up with us whenever you want.
