Man I need a good long ride with some good friends. Seems like it has been forever since I took a good putt :( I hope this year will be one of the best riding years ever. I know I'm ready for it :D

Been ready for months but 20 degrees and slippery, salt covered roads put a bit of a damper on riding but looking forward to good weather and great rides with great friends. :D
I'm ready! Going riding today in fact.

Good for you. Is this your first time back on the bike?
No, I took a ride last week. Wasn't a long one, only about an hour, and mostly straight roads. Today I hope to go over to Tellico. I want to check out the progress of the Cherohala Motorcycle Campgound that's being built.
I'm ready, like most of us in this area of the country.
However, IT'S GONNA BE A WHILE,
Lots of snow and ice to melt, and tons of salt on the roads.
Spring rains should was it away, if Spring ever gets here.

Vicky
Glad to hear you're riding!!!
If you run Greasy Creek or 315 today let us know about the road conditions.
I can't wait till March for a good trip and am wearing Alabama and south Georgia out!
I rode 30 from 64 to 315 and 315 to 39. 30 had some gravel in the curves and lots of county trucks. They must be working on the side roads or something. 315 wasn't as bad but had gravel in a couple of places where rain had washed it out of a driveway. With the amount of rain we're suppposed to get the next couple of days I'm sure it will get worse. I had a good ride, but it was a bit chilly especially riding through the wooded areas. Almost had to plug my jacket in!

I only got in about 80 miles today but it was great to get the old girl up to speed. Stopped in at a local Honda shop to discuss our discount policies and to get things straight.
then headed up toward Hwy 53 but a phone call got me back home.

Will Do!
I looked at a used ZRX1200 last Saturday. I have liked that bike since it came out.
Working on the boss to allow two bikes in the garage.
Just tell her the ZRX will get almost double the gas milege of the Valk!!

Almost wish that we would get some bad weather here for a month or so, just so I can catch up on some wrenching. Reckon I will just have to live with the blue shies and bamy weather. The injustice of it all hehehe
