For those running a blower on the valkyrie. What are you using for air filtration. Does the intake assy for the blower mate up with the stock air cleaner at all? What filtration system is considered acceptable for the increased air flow?

I don't own a blown Valk, but I can tell you the carb will sit pretty much in the same area as your existing air box, and the filter will go on the intake for the blower. No place for the air box as it is.... hope this helps.

The MagnaCharger uses a K&N filter. The stock air cleaner is HUGE ... no space under the tank for that mess and would not even be close to "lining up"! Here is a picture, "borrowed" from Lamont's pages:

Follow this link and you can read more about the blower set-up.

hey... thats MY motor.... at JeffK's house when we did the OD gear and blower mod all at once there... niiice eh?

anyway, your stock airbox is not used in the blower mod kit. you will discard it during the mod. It cannot be modified to reuse with the kit....

Thanks for the info, sorry I didn't respond quicker, but ended up in hosiptal on Monday and didn't get back out until today. Everything will be fine. I really appreciate the info. I was hoping that the motor would look like Mosa's motor. I am glad that it will as that will fill my requirements to a tee
