Kohlberg Kravis Roberts is the company that bought many of the Safeway grocery stores in the late 80s. They sucked out every nickle they could and then sold what was left to another group who finished the job. The "new" company filed bankruptcy a couple of years later owing millions more than KKR actually paid for the stores to begin with.
I hope they don't buy HD because there may not be much left of it after they are finished.
