I tried my hand at making Bagels today..
It's funny when it snows big time in a winter..
I bake and bake .. To a point of burning out on it till next winter..
I made these from Whole Wheat so at least they are a whole grain.
Very strange to make, but fun http://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider/thumb.gif
Mix yeast WW water ..Knead /rest/shape/rest/Broil then Boil then bake...
I will have to make these again..Now I know how the dough handles
This evenings Supper......

I guess it's just what ya get use to.
We take months to prepare for them..
Firewood etc...Heck it's 79* in the house and 9* outside..
Deer hunting? Where?? Our season is just about over,I think bow is the only thing left..
You can't get good authentic NY bagels in our area.. And as I said for years I always wanted to give them a try.I'm very happy how they turned out :pepper1: I will tweak them a bit more.. But ya need something to start with...
Made some nice WholeWheat/Flax seed bread the othe day..

Man, I sure didn't think you could make one from scratch that would actually look like one - but you sure did.
Let's see I think this was in your front yard.
