Razor Ray, Scott Stewart and my self are plannig on doing Americade. For Ray and my self this will be a first.

We are working out our plans now but looks like Ray and my self are planning on departing Saturday June 5 taking a couple days to get to New York and departing there on Friday for the return. While up there we are planning on doing a couple of side trips to the North East.

Scott stated we need to get booking rooms quickly.

How may of you are planning on going?

I have a group going up the same day. Looks like we are going to take a side trip to Hershey PA. for the first nights stay. We stay at Melody Manor in Lake George while at Americade. It's about 5 miles up the road from town. Let me know if you want the number. If you have any questions e-mail me or call. Americade is one of the best rallys we've been to. The riding is great up there, and the town people are really nice to the bikers.

We are going again this year, along with Patriot and others. I really enjoy this one too, nice place, not too wild, but enough going on to enjoy!

I have gone several times and stayed at hotels within walking distance of town. It was really nice being able to just walk down into town in the evenings to eat and look at the parade of bikes going by every night especilly if the weather was questionable. The rooms within walking distance to town go fast.
Hey Patriot, since you stay about 5 miles from town, do you have any trouble getting into town and finding parking?
Hey Jack give me a call, is Ray going solo?

Didn't have any problem last year getting into town. Our hotel is in Bolton Landing on the upper side of Lake George. The ride into town is great. Looks like Maggie Valley/Cherokee or Gatlinburg area to me.

Nice Place. Lots of good riding. For a nice view, ride thru the vendor area and keep on going up to the first intersection and take a left. The road follows the east shore of the lake. After about 2 miles, there'll be a sign on the right that says "Top of the World". Turn there and keep going up the hill until you get the golf course. Now turn around and look

I am looking to go for the first time this year. I'd be interested in hooking up with a small group for the trip.

I went last year for the first time and loved it! A wonderful gathering and beautiful country. I camped and didn't have a lick of trouble. Great people and hosts! Would love to hook up with others. I'm in Western NC.

Sounds like this may turn into a convoy.

Looks like more and more BBR folks are going to Americade. Why don't we organize a BBR night while we're up there.
