Just wanted to let you all know how Jerome is doing. Our local club had what we call our annual Blahs Party (after Christmas) and he was there. He was using a walker for now but his stump is healed up really well, and he was in great humor. Just like the old Jerome. His daughter and son in law brought him and we all sat and laughed. He even got an award for one of the longest miles. Can't remember how much his was but it was up there. I did give him the book Daniel and he really appreciated it.
Now I need a favor for some more prayers, My Hubby, Phil may have throat cancer, we don't know yet. He goes Wed to get a biopsy of his vocal cords, and have laser surgery done (for a lesion). So please pray for him. I am really worried about it, he is my best friend and hubby.

Again payers coming your way. It seems that the only news you get lately is bad news, but I'm hoping that soon all your news will be good. Take care, we will keep you in our thoughts.

Thanks Guys and Gals,
Jerome was in high spirits Sat nite. Great to see that. It started raining while we were inside and he was worried about going down the steps with his walker. So two of the guys carried him out to his car and my hubby took his walker . Got him in safe and sound. It sure was great to see him there!
As for my hubby, Smoking is going to cease too. We both smoke and I will just put them down and if I get a craving for one, I will get on my electric treadmill. Him , well, he will get the patches. I told the nurse, that , boy maybe next time you see me, I will have lost weight getting on the treadmill every time I want a cig. She giggled..... Well thanks to you all, you are so sweet, and hopefully we can get together at some point in time.
