You would think that your weather sucks or something. You just wait till you visit the frozen hell of Michigan.......There is at least a foot of snow on the ground and the temps have barely broken 10 deg in a month or so. Your times coming my friend.
Fuzzy
Ride South!!!!
Bring it on down here you snow birds!

Sorry but I need to stay for the winter, but with any luck maybe I can make your BBQ this fall. Been wanting to get down that way for a visit and ride the mountain roads for some time now. You never know this may be the year.
yeah, this Michigan winter has been a cold one.
Can't wait, in another 3 weeks I'll be heading down to my daughters home in Georgia. I'll get to do some riding them.
It's a long time til March for my Michigan ride.

Well at least it is not global warming... good to see the cold temperatures...It kills the little bugs that annoy us.
It has been cool here to in North Georgia... temps for the last two days were about low of 20 and a high of 39. Not very nice riding weather. Looks like were in for more rain this weekend. then the end of the month we get another winter blast.
Glad spring is only a couple of months away.
Ride Safe.

Hey Fuzzy,
Originally from Flint. Michigan winters are why I live in South Florida.

Rode the Valk to work at 2 AM this morning. Ice and sleet on the roads. Only 30 miles. Half way down I rode behind the plow, too chicken to pass. The driveway into work was a solid sheet of ice. Easy on throttle, easy on brakes, and coast to a stop, . . . side stand down, . . . easy off the bike, sliiiiiiip . . . I almost fell. By the way, another winter riding tip. All that salt they spray on the roads becomes flying eye irritant ont the return trip after the rodes have dried and boy do those eyes burn. I need to start wearing sealed lens goggles.

When you get down here, give me a holler. 7062175829. Where does your sister live?
I'm in the northwest corner of the state, about 50 miles southwest of TNT.
Were you the one asking about Deal's Gap? You can ride it year-round, but check road conditions in winter at the store at the junction of NC28 and US129. Also, Cherohala Skyway is only 16 miles south of The Gap. Another fabulous ride. 46 miles of road with only two or three intersections. Watch for ice at higher elevations. See www.tailofthedragon.com (http://www.tailofthedragon.com) for info on conditions and area rides.
