Well I went a saw and touched all the new toys... and I am still glad I have my mighty Valkyire around.

The Trimuph new 2034 CC bike looks pretty good and If I was in the market for a new bike I would probably choose it at 15,900 not too bad of a deal especially when it will spank a Hyabusa (sp) to 60 mph.
I would ride one first to see If I could stay up with Vicki of course.

The Kawaski new 2000 is just an over grown V-twin in my opinion. However the cosmetics looks pretty good. From one report I heard is that the acceleration at low end is good but it dies at the top end... time will tell

Honda....What a disappointment. They had all the VTx's and a couple pretty good nice ones. Did not see the Griffon... it would have been cool
a lot of ATV's if that is what your into. And a hand full of sport bikes. When you come down to it your choices in the Crusiers Honda are a 750, a VTX 1300 or 1800 or the 1800N which sports a nice tail light, or the Goldwing...

Harley Davidson... just the same as last year except the Sportster with the bigger tank and rubber mounted engine. It does make it a nicer bike in the 1200 CC range and would make a nice second bike to make some noise It looks larger and probably will attract a lot of customers since it is under 10 grand decked out. the rest of the line up is the same except the Hertiage softail which sported a new bag line and a top trunk....I did not see any of the new 1700 CC Ultra Glides.

BMW,,, nothing to write home about

NO Boss Hoss....that I saw.
No orange county choppers.

While ther bumped in to ToolTom, Mark Jones, buntingman and Stanley Steamer.

All in all a lot of folks mulling around. the kids in the steel ball were pretty good... with 3 in there it sure did get crowded in a hurry.

Then went to the Gun show 5 miles up the road. Lots of nice guns for sale. A lot of AK style assult rifles guns in the 233 cal range from around 200.00 dollars up brand new. I just bought some more 9 mm and a box of 22 lr.

Heard rumors of the Valkyrie in 2006? who knows. by then I''ll have 90 thousand miles on my lady and probably just invest in a blower and new paint.

Thanks for the report on the bike show Jack. If JDubya hadn't been on standby we would have come down for it. From the pics I've seen the Triumph would have been my choice too, except for maybe the Kaw ZZR1200.
