Since the Valk is all tore down, I'm replacing a bunch of stuff, I have never liked the Rear Turn Signals. I'm thinking about flushmounting something into each of the Hard Bags. I've seen Teardrops, but I don't really like that look. maybe something Oval or Round. I was looking at Custom Dynamics, and they have some round Pods, but their expensive. I'm looking for some ideas to clean up the back end and still have some visibility. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Take a look at Radiantz and their products. Here is their link:

I have various products from them ... very good quality and the brightest LED's I've seen.

I got the Radiantz tail light LED conversion. Seems like there is 128 of those little buggers in der. They make my little 8 led flashong brake lights disappear. Thise little pods used to greab everyones attention, but no more.

My riding partner said he wanted the front now, I tap the brakes and he says he can't see for 10 minutes. LOL...

I have been running the combo tail/turnlight and the flexible LED's (.5in spaced) 24" total for about three years/30K miles ... ALL LED's are still working like day one. I have seen reports by a couple guys that have had a couple of the lights go out ... but I've seen many more that are very satisfied. With the Radiantz Flexible you can purchase in large strips and shorten them to the size you need/want (cheaper to buy it this way - this is what I did). Maybe the guys that have had problems have shortened theirs :?: I don't know - nobody has ever said. If done incorrectly you could have LED's NOT lit. Just a thought ...

Yogi! look at something really simple, and very cheap (well price wise) I got some of big bike parts billet marker lights (part no. 16-105, under $50) then I took the rear fender rails off, drilled a hole in the bottom rear section of the rail and mounted the lights. I put them on the Legend. They are unbelieveably BRIGHT and the are safely concealed between the bags and the fender, real clean look. I have some pics of them in the photo gallery, or I know Lamont has some of them. I could email the pics to you if you want. Good Luck!

I'm thinking that may be the way to go. Radiantz also has an LED tailight replacement that splits the surface area into three and has the turnsignals incorporated. That would really clean up the back end, but the $135.00 kind of puts me off. Decisions...Decisions :?

I just wish someone would make a brighter tail lense for the Valk. The VTX uses the same bulb but has got to be 3 times brighter due to the shinier lens.

I just installed them as turn signals only, because to be honest they too bright for running lights. I am thinking of setting up "emergency flashers" which will use those lights also. For running lights I have a couple of other ideas, but that will have to come later.

You might want to check the local truck stops and the local boat supply house, like Bass Pro Shop...Loook in the light section of the truck stop for the round or oval led lights,,,Cut in with a rubber grommet to hold them in place...The Bass Pro Shop in Memphis has the same lights a few bucks cheeper....The round ones are about 25 each and the oval ones are about 35....The only other thing you will have to do is to replace your signal flasher with an electronic one Auto Zone 9 bucks....Also the lights I am talking about are running lights too...

Brake/turn/running....Worth looking at..
