Got out to the office at 3:30 and started doing my daily routine. About 4:30 my internet started acting up (Direcway) and I thought it was me. Went through all the re-boot, clear temp files and all that but it just kept getting worst. I called Direcway and they did have a problem :( Decided to login with my lap top on Earthlink and I never could get that to work. :( So I decide to go back into the house around 5:30 but I locked myself out and everyone is still asleep  I go back into the office and start cleaning up files and defraging my hard drives. My internet just started working again. :) Man I can't wait to get cable. :D

Hey lad, the first thing you learn in the country.

Have a spare key hidden away somehere in case ya'll need it.

Ya'll never know when you are going to come home and say, opps, I left my house key on the car ring I left at the dealership for repair.

When you called Direcway was the call taken by an Indian in India  I hate calling their "tech dept" (term used VERY loosely) because you can't understand anything they say until you get transferred to at least level 2 or level 3 persons. I understand that this is becoming the norm for large companies to have calls answered out of India ... supposed to be cheaper :? I don't buy it and it's very annoying to us the consumer. :banghead:

One day maybe cable will make it out my way ... I hope anyway!

You just have bad luck Bro. :( I got in right away to an english speaking dude and he was easy to understand and helpful as much as he could be.
Direcway is better than dialup but it's hard after having cable in San Diego to step backwards. Hope to have mine in the next month I hope.

Wow that is a surprise to me but excellent news for you. I haven't had to call in a month or so ... maybe things have changed for the better?

Did they get the poles installed already? I'm guessing that will be the most time consuming part :D
