Update

I go back to the Doctor this morning. Its been 8 weeks since the accident. I am hoping he will let me go back to work on light duty. My boss says this won't be a problem. He just wants me back. Plus, he has been paying me some while I have been off.
I spoke with the prosecutor last week. LRPD still has not turned anything over to him so John Turpin is still driving around looking for his next victim. He said traffic accidents were not considered high priority unless a death had occurred.
Valk and VTX are still in my toy hauler. I'm feeling just well enough to start thinking about when I can ride again. I've already replaced my Joe Rocket Jacket and my Fulmer Helmet. I'm planning on waiting 'til next year's bikes come out before I buy something to replace the Rocket III.

Dr released me to light duty. For now, I am shuffling papers at work. I'll be doing that thru September. :D
Spoke with the Prosecutor's Office yesterday. Still no word. :evil:

Well I am glad to hear that your released to do light work and that your boss wants ya back... that's good news...

as far as the jerk... I can not believe that someone... some police video a fireman or someone saw the fellow get into his pickup truck... I wonder how the police department figures his truck got there.... by an act of God...Just falls out of the sky on to you and your bike....

I am sad that it is such a hassle to bring justice... but that is how our great civil laws have come to.

FINALLY! I heard today that John Turpin's case will be handed over to the prosecuting attorney's office. I should know in a few days how he will be charged. It has ONLY been about 14 weeks since he ran over me and fled the scene. :evil:
