Thinking of replacing my Valk with a GW. The only problem is 6'4" 34" - 35" inseam I feel like I am sitting on the tank. and my knees are against the fairing. I searched the GW links and did not find anything or was not allowed to search without joining. Anybody had good results with a particular model? Thanks, Mike

I've had two GW's, an '86 and a'91. I can't speak to your problem with your height but I can personally recommend The Diamond Seat. I had a Diamond seat on the '86 and I have a Diamond seat on my '97 Valk. I'm 6 feet tall and the Diamond seat was custom made for my size and weight. I personally have had excellent results with no sending the seat back for "adjustments" If you don't like the diamond pattern, try the Hartco, another excellent seat company owned by the same person. Ther e is also the Utopia another good seat. All are advertised in Wing World mag.

Mike

I had an 02 Wing. I also found it to be "cramped" ... I went with Corbin (always had good luck in the past) and it made a huge difference. The Corbin set up sits you back furthur then the stock seat - made the ride much more comfortable. You can also get the Corbin with heated seat areas (both rider and passenger are separate controls) which was very nice in the Fall and early Spring. Here is a picture of the Corbin on my Wing.

Mike if you go on the Goldwing Board and search for posts from user DDKING you will find an indepth report on what he did to get comfortable. I'm 6'3" tall and I use a Corbin with Mic-O-Pegs. Both of us have pics posted on this sites picture board.
