My 2000 Valk. Tourer, with 32,000 miles has started making a pretty loud clicking/tapping sound when started from dead cold in mornings. It lasts about 15 secs. then goes away. I checked the oil level, and it is fine. It sounds like the oil pump lost it's prime or something? Any clue as to what it may be?
Thanks.

I run the same weight in full syn.
I never had a rattle when I needed a valve adjustment.
How many miles do you run between changes???????
I have settled into a 3,000 mile routine with mine.......

I run about 3000 between changes also. 99% sure valves now, it softly ticks when warm. Gonna have to tweak them.
Thanks for the help guys. :)
