went for a short ride today--actually only 5 miles just to put the bike in my brothers garage---we have a nor'easter coming this afternoon--winds of 30 to 80 mph and 2 to 4 inches of rain and 8 to 18 inches of snow forcast for tomorrow and for the next three days more snow and rain and wind[only in the 30-40 mph range]-waves on the coast supposed to be in the 15 to 25 foot range- and the predicted power outages[not bad except the temps will be in the 25-40 degree range] a nor'easter is like a hurricane except that it lasts for days not hours---oh well bitch,bitch,bitch..........no wonder they call people from maine MANIACS
Go rent some movies, button down the hatches, lay on a good supply of fire water and then just wait it out............
Have a kerosene heater also just in case it is needed.......
Generator also might help to keep a few lights on....... and the TV running for the movies.......

so far @5 inches of rain today and top wind was 89 mph-they are saying it will start to get better by wed nite--snowed all last nite-at least the rain is getting rid of the snow and washing all the sand and salt off the roads-by friday i should be able to get the bike ot of the bomb shelter and go for a ride---that will be the one year anniversary of getting the bike out of storage and going for a ride---kind of scares me tho---that was when a 17 year old girl ran over me while i was stopped at a crosswalk letting people cross the street--think i'll wait til saturday--going down to the coast now to see the 15 to 25 foot waves
