Now that is really pretty. Wish I lived in the mountains. Well I survived another crash. Went down New Year's Day aroubd 6:30 PM. Camne off of off ramp in St. Charles, Missouri in the rain, and they had just laid down some new asphalt at the end of the concrete ramp. The Valk laid over on the right side engine guard and skidded about 50 feet before driving into a parking lot -- never hit a thing. Only three lanes of heavy traffic behind me skidding all over the place. Looks peaceful in those mountains.

you've sure had some good pics lately.
Kinda makes me wish I could move to the mountains.
Maybe in another few years.
I grew up in western NC near the mountains, my daughter lives in N.Georgia near the mountains, must be in my blood.
Now I just have retire and get my butt out of this cold, wintry Michigan.
-6` this morning.

Nope, the road isn't in that picture, that's just the pasture in the foreground. Jim was probably standing about 20 ft from where Rocket piled up when he took this pic.

You guys staying warm up that way?

Great shot Vicki :D
When we drove to Maggie Valley we saw a lot of really cool mountain tops like that and some cool ice sickles hanging down off of the rocks. :D

Smiley, get ahold of Connie Bradford (f6gal), her husband Michael Bradford, (Psycho) or Bill Furgeson (BigBF) in Phoenix. You can find any one of the 3 on the VRCC board......

If you want Connie's or Bill's e-mail drop me a note at rjb448@hotmail.com.

Well, not really, last night I had a whopping 1 degree above. Today it was a veritable heat wave at 29. A buddy of mine showed up this aftrernoon on his VTX to rub the fact that he had gotten his Progressives installed. The Valk is still sitting on the jack and stands all torn down. Trying to decide how far I want to go with it. Money being the main deciding factor. I've still got a bunch of pieces parts due in from Hal before I start reassembly. I'm really stuck on the paint thing tho' I've pretty much decided to keep it Black and maybe some striping or something later.

Hows your new valk coming?

New Valk is coming along slow. I've put a few chrome goodies on it. The painter had the flu so, he's not got much done yet, plus the Corbin bags & side covers haven't come in yet.

I did sit on the Rex in the garage today and was able to get it off the sidestand on the third try. It didn't make my leg hurt, so hopefully I'll be riding again soon. It was up to 45 here today and would have been a good day for a ride.
