Got the new Big Bike Parts rack ( for goldwing) from Hal and need to know what to use as a filler between the the inner and outer lids.
Foam Caulk? Any help appreciated . :)

I put one on my Interstate and did not use any filler. Maybe I should have, but it has been on there for several months now with no problems. Worst part is drilling that nice lookin trunk full of holes.

I used these to mount mine, and didn't need any fillers.

That was the same thing I used, plus I added Large washers to the inside of trunk lid. Have had no problems in over a year.

And it even held up in a crash.

Thanks for the responses, I tried to do this on that other "board" and just got sarcastic comments from most. I'll get the mount kit and I'm also going to use the expandable foam caulk to create a filler between the inner and outer. Look on the Online store for 1800's at the new Big bike part trunk rack. It's similar to the Kury but with wider bars and all chrome. Thanks again :)
