Airbox design :? On my Concourse, all I had to do was open a flap on the side of the bike and pull out the aircleaner to replace or clean :) I used to think it was crazy on my Valk to have to take the tank off to get to the aircleaner...well the ST is worse  It's one of those things that's not hard, it's just a pain. I like things that make more sense 8) Hope you guys have been riding. The weather has been awesome here. I'm getting ready for a couple of road trips. YEEEEEHAAAAAA I'm ready fur spring :!:

You missed a great ride the other day... the Cootmaster had an itch and let the ST1300 rip... my son tried to keep up but hit the limit on his bike....the rest of the group found him along the side of the road waiting.... What's a father to do..... help son get another bike and he's tearing up the roads again.

Warren, if 99% of the engineers in any of the bike or car manufactures had to work on their designs, they would make things an awful lot easier.....

Kind of like the old Chevy Nova with the 350 in it. You had to take the inner fender panels out to change plugs. The new Blue Oval pickups, F150 to F350, the engine is tucked back in under the dash, and I still say it would be easier to cut the firewall and work on it from inside the cab. They did however make the dash easier to pull, it only has 12 bolts/screws in it now and the whole thing unplugs and lifts out. Under warranty, it is easier to replace the dash than it is to troubleshoot the electrics. DUH.......

Well, it is currently 2 above, wind chill 6 below, so I don't think I'll worry about getting the Valk out and starting it and going for a ride today....

Also, I don't have enough electrics to ward off the cold to ride, and they got this salt stuff all over the road........ Can we all say together, PMS..... :cus:

Jim was chasing me down. That ST1300 really does fly. I was running at between 110 and 120 and he reeled me in easily.

Enjoyed the little sprint. The sweepers are thrilling at a buck forty.
