I went out and rode the Valkyrie to the store in 31 degree temp to get a Powerball ticket at 6:30 PM my time. Dang next time I'll take the CarHartt jacket.

So that is my last ride for this year.

In the morning it is supposed to get into the mid 40's, so I plan on doing 100 to 250 miles tomorrow for my annual New Year's Day ride.

The longer mileage makes up for some of the years we had snow on the ground and I was only able to go to the end of the driveway and back, with her help of course.

Wife and I have argued tonight over how many years I've done this stupid stunt. I say 45 and she says it is more like 48. I don't think she can count to well............ LOL........ Happy New year everyone......

:D I know you'll be all smiles for most of that ride....But when it hits you on the way back  and you realize it's that far to get back home, your fingers get numb, and you decide to pull over to sink your gloves on to that big 3 cyclinder Head to get warm again....I won't say I told you so, I'll just look at you and say...Me too bro!

Have a safe ride! I'll head out too about 12:00noon

I went on my last ride of the year as well. Took some movies back and then went to get a couple of sodas and a couple of things so I can start to put my light conversion kit in.
