story? I tore the roof off my house Oct 27th, and am pounding away. The old windows downstairs are getting replaced today. Most of the trim ois on th e outside with siding to be done shortly.

This is worse than working 2 jobs.

Send me good vibes...

Been there and done that. Almost cost me a divorce. But after it was done it was real nice. I really don't see what the problem was. she always had a bathroom to use, maybe there were not any walls around it or sometimes not a roof. But what the hell, it had a nice view outside

How about the reverse? I had to turn a bedroom into a kitchen/living room for about a month while I gutted and rebuilt the first floor of my 80 year old farmhouse. Talk about dirt. I uncovered things that hadn't seen the light of day since RJ was a youngin' Yep, made it a nice new house then turned around and sold it 2 years later. Wish I still had it tho'

I have lived in this house 9 years already, and I am not only finding dirty... but am finding and repairing a lot of old damage, or stuff that was just not done quite right.

Some old termite damage. (No sing of anything recent.) I had termites 8 years ago and had it all treated then.

The A/C drain was just stubbed into the crawl and left to drain... I fixed that last night and tied it into the sanitary drain.

All new windows downstairs.

Insulating the downstairs which was never done before.

All new siding.

It's all overwhelming really.
