View Full Version : Don't buy the iWay 350 for your bike
After 1100 miles to FL, the iWay did NOT perform as expected. It shut off on me about 20 times. apparently the vibration is too much for it. I just spoke to the support guys at Lowrance and they now inform me that they are finding that the 350 is not as "ruggedized" as the 500 even though their Website says it is.
Needless to say I will be buying a Quest. I was going to do that originally but really liked the idea of the iWay. Oh Well Anybody want to buy their wives a GPS for the car?? it works great for that. :(

I don't know if it's that, There is a little more vibration, but not much, after all your going from 6 cylinders to 3 VERY BIG ones. I also have the aftermarket pipes on the bike and the pulses from the exhaust do come through a little. It may work fine on the Valk. Like I said it's overall a very nice unit. It just doesn't work for what I intended. I could keep it for the car, but no point in having two.

Which pipes did you get? You didn't have them at the PA Fall Rocket Ride, did you? I hope you didn't get those ones that one guy had...Jardines I think? They sounded cool at first, but got really f'ing annoying after a while. WAY TOO LOUD!!! Some of the other guys pipes sounded good though. Looking forward to checking them out in May!
