I Love the holidays!
The family behaved, the weather has been great, I?ve gotten some good writing done. I even managed to do some reading! That is unusual for me lately, and that is sad, as I am an avid reader that usually averages 100 books a year or so. (read three this weekend).
We also managed to watch the entire contents of the 4-disc special extended DVD set of Two Towers! (some COOL stuff on those!)
The only drawback I can see is that my wife is insisting that the pound and a half of homemade fudge (real butter, real vanilla, real chocolate--I am a great cook!) that I had for meals today is not a healthy thing!
I mean, heck, I washed it down with at least a half-gallon of eggnog! What?s the problem?
The heart palpitations, chattering teeth, crossed eyes, and nervous twitches are just because I have not been to work in a couple days . . .
Right?
Mmmmmmmm. Fudge.
