removing the trunk, try to get one of those quick disconnects for it.

add a taillight w/ turnsignals

mount cb somewhere other than under the trunk

add antennae for the radio and cb



then or maybe before-paint job(dont know where to keep a barebutt IS)

I dont have a garage,many tools or the knowhow. I am reading all I can on the few websites I have found on moding an IS

Hey Mustang. Why don't you just ride up here. I have a garage, tools, and have done the mods and the paint. :) :D Could not be more that 10 or 12 hours the way you ride.. :lol:

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. If you want to remove the pods, you will have to hit a dear like I did, cause I may not know how to remove them normally. :lol: Good luck with the mods. If you make the BBR rally in the Carolinas, or the so-called Inzane IV, I will see you there. I probably ain't going to InZane IV, but I live close.

I live near Dallas (Lewisville) and have performed the Super Valk modification on my 1999 Interstate. Removing the trunk is pretty easy - even for me who is mechanically challenged.

My first suggestion is to contact BigBF and have him do the "Quick Connect". You can find that information at www.bigbf.com/bigbf_shop/mod_i-s_trunk/send_bracket/ (http://www.bigbf.com/bigbf_shop/mod_i-s_trunk/send_bracket/). This make the entire process VERY easy!!

Second, I mounted my CB radio under the driver seat and relocated the CB/AM/FM antenna to the left side between the saddlebag and fender.
