After weeks of dealing with insurance companies, hospitals and doctors, they flew (close to) home yesterday! Skip is now in Camp Hill, Pa. which is about 2 hours from HOME.
Skip is improving a little every day. He shakes his head in response to questions and even tried to kiss Sharon goodbye the other day. He still is not fully conscious though, and has a long hard road ahead of him. But at least Sharon is closer to home and we can go visit them now without breaking the bank.
I hope one day soon that I can get on here and post that Skip is awake and aware of his surroundings. :?
