Hey all...on my Boss, I have a tri-bar trillient headlight, that has a standard H4 Halogen bulb. It does better than a standard sealed beam halogen bulb, but still doesn't have the lighting I desire. I am looking at two different types of replacement bulbs to increase the lighting capabilities and wondered if any of you have had experience with either of these bulbs. 1> One is the Silverstar by Sylvania, which I know is a very good bulb, as I am running them on my Corvette, and they perform wonderfully. 2> The new Xenon replacement bulbs. They are supposed to use the same amount of power that a standard 55/60 watt halogen bulb does, but put out the equavilent of 100/125 Watt light output. Have any of you tried either of these bulbs, have any reccomendations, etc.? I appreciate any and all responses...Thanks all!
I'd go with the silverstar myself... thats a good bulb and not too blue.
But, I'd also add some driving lights to get what you want... I think they make some small lights that are not hardly noticable, but put out some serious light.. Plus you can aim em to spread the light out just the way you want it...and still leaves the headlight pointed in the right direction for max visibility.... just a thought... ( tryin to remember the lights I saw... so I can say a brand/item.. but got ol fart disease this mornin and cant remember nuttin...)

Was anyone here at Prescott?
There was a gentelman there that was installing lights that mounted on the lower forks. They lit up the whole dang county when you turned them on.
I'll check with a couple fo people to see if they remember who they were.
Dave Ritsema, you are being paged Bro.... Who was that dude...
I remember I helped him unload his tool box. Little bitty box but man was that sucker a hand full when you picked it up.

I have a 2000 ZZ4 Boss Hoss and I run the same tri bar headlight with the 55/60 bulb . After reading about fellow Boss owners finding that their headlight plug was partially melted , I checked mine a sure enough mine was also . Apparently on the older Boss's the factory used a cheap plug. A good replacement plug is a NAPA LS 6235 . It is heavy duty and will withstand the higher temps. of the high out put holagen bulbs .
