Harley help!!

Thinking about buying a Heritage Softail Classic so I rented one for the weekend, the ride home was great and I have a trip planed for the rest of the weekend. The problem is I turned the factory installed security system on and now I can't get it turned off, seems like a no brainer, press the button on the key fob and turn it off. Dealer won't be open untill 8:30am and I'd like to leave at 6:00am. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I tried it with the ignition on, ignition off but nothing works. Lights flash when the button is pushed but the alarm on light just continues to flash.

---had the same problem----if i remember right hold in once to turn on and push it twice to turn it off---can i interest you in a flht '04---hope this helps ---chuck "dragon1" p.s. ignition off
