View Full Version : Hey everyone, thought I would stop in and say Hello
Sorry I have been away, first I was sick then hunting season (got sicker  ) and now I am just trying to finish up everything before Christmas. That includes shopping ( I hate the crowds), cleaning up the garage, organizing everything, finishing up the 8yr remodeling project, reorganizing the house ( I should have just moved it, would have been easier), plus trying to keep up with all that is going on around the motorcycle world(about ready to give up on that idea, keeping up, well OK just with all the "new" items, I will always keep up ! :a13:) I have been so busy I didn't even put up lights this year. Sometime I need to sit down and learn this new board, and I need to do some MAJOR upgrades to my computer, along with my brain. Last one will be the more difficult of the two. :a13: The Legend has her cover on, sitting in her nice heated spot along with my red/black Valk. The red/black Valk will hopefully become "the Hawkster" ( a fully customed stretched, lowered, and wildly modified Valk) by Spring, but who knows with this place. At the rate I am going, it may get done by the time I can register it as an antique :x Well hope ya'll are ready for Christmas, and ya'll are well. Remember the reason for the Season! [/b]
Welcome to the maddness Hawk. All this motorcycle board reading sure does take up a lot of time if you're not careful.
A bunch of great guys and gals have found this place and we're better for it.
Gonna be in WV in July. Taking my grandson on the Lower New River for some rafting. They say this run is "family oriented", sure hope we have a good time.

Good Luck on the rebuild, remodel and all that good stuff.
I've been 23 years mama tells me, on the ServiCar and it isn't even close to running yet...... Engine will run, transmission will shift, even into REVERSE, but the rest of it needs mucho repair, fittings, and final dis-assembly so as to get thing powder coated before final installation. Hardest part is going to be able to find EXTERNAL brake bands.
Hey Hawk, good to hear from you. I have been wondering if you were still kickin'! Take a break and have a very Merry Christmas and may we all have a wonderful New Year!!
BG, let me know when you are headed this way and we wil try to meet up, do some riding. :) I am about two hours from the New River. I have never been on the river tours, but I know lots who have and they all say it is GREAT!!!!! Sarge, in my case, moving would be easier, YOUR BIKE???? :o HAHAHA, I guess that means you will be headed up to take her for a ride in the spring right? RJ, I know what you mean about that disassembly before the final assembly, that one is always a !$@&% something you never planned on always breaks and then you try to .....rig it  Smilin Jack, I will have to plan a trip to Ga this year, when I was in school, Cummings was my favorite "get-away", next to Stone Mt on Friday night  RayO, I am still workin on the Dodge, got give ya the best run for your money Buddy. :D I was cleaning the beast up the other day, the hood and top have acid coming UP through the paint. I am going to see about just replacing the hood and reskinning the top. Looks like I am going to be selling some more things
:x Hey Ray have you seen the new racing semis series? www.stranaracing.com (http://www.stranaracing.com) We will have to go see these, I WANT ONE!!!!!! 8)
