Now that things are settling down I wanted to take some time to thank everyone for their support over the past 11 weeks. All the calls, cards, gifts, etc. really helped to keep my head square.
I was released from the rehabilitation hospital on the 19th of July and over the past two weeks I have managed to settle back in to the house and my office. The first few days home alone was tough but as they say, "baptism in fire" is definitely a good way to get back into the swing of things.
Walking is good but my shoulders are still giving me some trouble. Severe nerve pain is the toughest obstacle to hurdle. However, constant work both at home and at the office really helps with my fine motor movements in the hands and fingers.
All in all I feel good. Laura has been an angel and her love and support has been fantastic. She keeps telling me to heal faster so we can go for a scoot!!! :P
THANK EVERYONE! Ya'll have been great.

Good to hear from you Holmes, and glad everything is beginning to get back to normal -- as if your life was really normal before. You have a great lady there, and the rest of yor life to share with her, and that is what really matters. Your attitude is what will get you through. This is great news indeed. 8)
