834 mile, in a little over 2 days. Great times with friends and discovering some excellent riding roads on my own. :D Someone please tell Holmes I ate his burger for him and I expect him there next year to do it himself.

Wish I could have made it. Very large bruise over left kidney. Doctor said he would not give me pain pills so I could ruin my back. I finally gave in Friday morning. 800+ miles in two days on an injured back just ws not worth it any more. Glad you had a great time. :D

Rode about 100 miles with Big Jon's folks to Chatanooga....then rode about 150 miles alone...then Sherry met me in Lincoln, AL to eat lunch and ride the rest of the way home with me!

Sure was cool temp....for summer. About 70 degrees and light rain on and off. That will be the last long ride i do like that on the Rune for a while 8) About 1000 miles in a little over three days is too much for Trailer Queen on the Rune. Maybe on the Valk?

Back to my Trailer QUeen ways

Thanks to Big Jon for having me over. Sorry that new bottle of Crown developed that mysterious leak last night?????????????

Jerry and I took the scenic route home again, this time we tried to find roads we either had not been on, or hadn't been on for a very long time. It was a nice ride, and we didn't hit rain till about Turtletown on Hwy 68 in TN.

Thanks to Jon & LeAnn for the great time at dinner on Saturday night, and great to meet John and Fonda too!

Tim, it was good seeing you and we will see you again in September.

Ride safe, all.

Now Tim most of these good folks here now me better than that, and well most of them know I don't drink that much  so someone had to be doing lots of drinking, but after all we were getting warmed up for your birthday.
And well next year we will just have to warm up a little more seeing as though you are going to need all the help you can get being 50 and all.
A little hootch will help with the depression!!!

Hey BigJon.....you talked me into the beads for my seat....I used them on the ride home and they did cool my butt off some.....hummmm.....must have spent over $500.00 all in all.....but I had a great time.....a group of us stayed over in P forge and raced the go-carts at night.....I was a 4 time winner....I'll see some of you at the VALK gathering at Deal's Gap in mid July
