Thinking about another BBR Ride-In like Asheville

Last year coming back from Wings Over the Smokies we went through Maggie Valley NC. What a great place for a biker rally. :D They have a motorcycle museum with over 200 bikes.

They have some of the best riding you could ask for. Not far from Deals Gap.

And it looks like a very biker friendly town. When we went through they were having some kind of Harley Rally and there were bikes everywhere!

So if I can figure out some dates that won't pile up of some of the other rallies we go to are you folks open for that? I'm sure we can get another great group of Big Bike Riders together for this one. I sure enjoyed the last one. :D

Sounds like a plan Bro. I've been through Maggie Valley several times on a motorcycle but never stopped(except to buy gas). Very scenic, looks like a good place for a "Happening".

you know i'll try to be there. If it isn't the same weekend of one of the other 'big uns'...like CHeaha (30 April-2 May), Helen, GA (probably 14-16 May), InZane in Paducha (21-25 july)....etc.

Maggie Valley is a great little place. Not like Gatlinburg ...! I led a group down in July and we stayed at a motel about a mile away from Wheels through Time. I was at the museum 3 times this year. Was there in May, July and over Labor Day. Group each time. We did Route 28 from Cherokee to Deals Gap and Cherohala Skyway. Beautiful weather at times.

I would love to go again, and again, and again ....

Heck yes. I'm in. That museum was in Mt. Vernon, IL before it moved a few years ago. Belonged to Dale Walksler of Dale's HD, then he sold the HD shop, and moved. Be great to see it, him, friends, and ride! So many great things come from Southern Illinois: BBQ, motorcycles, Highlander . . . :lol:

I put my order in for the week of July 12th.
I'll be taking my grandson from Atlanta to West Virginia for some white water rafting. Planning on being at Grandfather MTN. on Thursday of that week. Not far at all from there to Maggie Valley.
Just let us know what dates you come up with.
