Bingo! you got it. BlkVlk, hey? If i didn't still own my 97 red and white Valk, i'd change my nickname to BlackRune. But i'll just leave it like it is.......
Hey, it's a bit cooler there in Minnesota than it is down here in Bama', HEY?

Hey thanks again.....my error was kinda dumb....but I got a good chuckle.
Yes.....4 below zero when I got the paper this morning.....a quick trip to the mailbox. The good news is....ice fishing season can't be far away.
Sure do like that Rune.....great color.....looking forward to seeing one on the street here in town.
I see all the weather banners that are in the posts, however I've yet to see one that had a temp in it. Just the banner.
Is it a set up on my computer I'm missing or what?

Hey BG......wish I could help....I really have no clue....I struggle with puter basics. Sounds like one for RedValk......my puter mentor.

you should be seeing the banner....with the changing time/temp box (changing from degree F to degree C). Might be you have an older version of Web browser or some capability that is not enabled?
Do you use Netscape or Internet Explorer? What version? If you use IE...i'd check what version you have....and if you don't have the latest version, go out to the Microsoft update website and get the latest version. That might be a good place to start?
others who are even more computer illiterate might be able to comment if there are any settings in the browser that could make him not be able to see the banner info?
Usually, viewing is no problem. It's setting it up to display in your messages that takes just a little config.
Sorry i can't help more....i'm more of a hardware guy....routers, switches, DSUs, hubs, etc. I design networks so you can browse the Internet. But i don't do much with software/applications.

How can you see anything with those glasses on? 8) Take them off and you will see fine
Are you running any spam or popup blocker?
Yes I'm running both spam and a pop-up blocker.
I bet that's the problem.
I'll turn them off and see what happens.

Copy the above link into your profile and you will get waht you are looking for.
You had some extra junk and a PERIOD where you needed a slash.
As Lamont said, it is those stupid glasses you can't see thru.
Do you still have the box your computer came in?
If so box it up and take it back.
When they ask you why you are returning it, tell them
"I'm too stupid to have one of these"
NAW, don't do that, then you wouldn't have no fun....... LOL.
Just a jerkin ur chain bro, we all have to learn somehow and it is usually by trial and error..........
Oh, yeah, when you copy that link into your profile or even into a message use the follwoing in front of and behind.
