I got some paint samples in the mail today! [Archive]

The painter sprayed a base coat of metalic pearl white with several variations for the second color. I wish the sun was shining so I could really get a good look at them, but so far none of them just really reach out and grab me. I talked to the painter and he's going to do a few more samples, variations of what he already sent. Sure is nice dealing with someone that is willing to keep trying till he gets it like you want. :D

What kinda scheme are you thinkin'? Flames, Tribal? what?? I've gotta get some ideas together to paint the Innerstate tank I got from Rocket. :) thats way I can go more than 140 miles.

Hey Vicki...

you are right to keep tryin until you get the color EXACTLY what you want... I think it will be worth the wait and dilligence...

Cant wait to see how it turns out.. maybe when you drop/pick up we can hook up here.. this time bring JimDubya!

I am SO happy you have this project now. It is a good distraction of your DMS/PMSyou are going thru while healing....

( BTW, you know yu ARE maikig it slower now due to the added color over the black... it WAS a tu-tone, now it will be a 3-tone... Black an Chrome IS TU-TONE....)

I was hoping we'd get to see you when we're over there. Not sure yet if I'm just going to ship all the parts to him, or bring them over.
