If your looking at the V-Strom do yourself a favor and look at the Caponord. The Capo came in tops in all the tests I've seen verses GS, Strom, Multi. The worse part about the Capo is the seat and not much on aftermarket pieces ... you've improvised before so it's not a big deal to make something fit/work. I can only say one thing ... the Capo is the ONLY bike I have owned that I've regretted selling :( I hope one day to own another. Good luck!

I know 3 guys that have them. 2 are 1000,s and my buddy rides a 650. He loves it. We are going to Alaska in July and he is riding the bike there. Rescueroy
