OK So I wanna add another bike to my garage. After all mommas got 2 so why cant I have 2. Dont need a Wing cause I have my Valk. Cant afford a Harley so....

The VTX 1800 or the Kawasaki 2000? Go with the proven VTX or with the brand new havent had the kinks worked out yet new kid on the block. Yes I know that the 2000 is based off of the Vulcan which is a proven bike but its still an all new bike.

What are your thoughts?

I really like the new NEO VTX. That's the bike I would get if I were looking for a V-Twin. You would have to see one in person to appreciate what they did on this bike. I would take it over the Rune and still have 11K to play with.

I have seen a lot of complaints about Kawasaki not honoring warranty issues on the ZRXOA forum. I know alot of this may have to to with the dealers, so unless you have a dealer you know and trust to do the right thing, I would stay away from the 2000 till the bugs are worked out.

I don't know which is the better bike but I do know that I've never had any problems with Honda but when a Kaw KLR that I owned had the rear shock leak all the oil out just 1 month after warrantee, and with low on road miles, Kawasaki would do absolutely nothing for me in spite of the service manager going to bat for me. I'll personally never buy another Kaw.

I'm in the same boat as you! I think I'm going to go with the VTX1800S to keep the Valkyrie company in the garage. Those spoked wheels sure have a classic look to them. I can't decide on fast black (like my Valk) or the silver. Decisions, decisions...
