Need electrical help with 84 interstate

I recently bought an 84 interstate. 55,000 miles and has been wrecked before I got it. It has been running great but recently I simultaneously lost power to the headlight, sidelights next to it, tach, and it pegs the gas gauge all at once. I have checked fuses and looked for a short but find nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a bad ground. Start checking connections, including the ground strap to the frame, but it really sounds like a ground failure somewhere up front . . . .
