Sometimes I can really be an idiot! Today I was moving cars and stuff around in the yard trying to put the traler in the garage so I could get it ready for Daytona. I was moving Donna's jeep so I could back the trailer in and forgot that I had already moved the bike out of the garage :? backed the jeep into the bike, knocked it into the trailer. Broke the throttle cable and put a nice bruise on the most visible side of the tank  Now I have to take the tank off to fix the cable and I don't have time cause I've got too much work to do before I leave on Friday. So I come in to eat supper and one of my best friends calls me up and says his wife just found out she has cancer today. Man, makes that little bike stuff seem pretty unimportant. Oh well guess I'll do a tank yank...put a bandaid on the booboo and thank the Lord for good taking such good care of me and my family! Hope to see a bunch of you in Daytona :D

Very good analogy Warren, thanks for sharing it. We all need to put our problems into perspective like that now and then...

Sorry to hear about your friends wife, that's really tough news :( I hope the DR's find the right treatment and she beats the disease. Tell your buddy to keep her spirits UP - that will help.

Bummer with your bike man  How did you pick the beast up ... three men and a boy? Don't sweat the small stuff, you'll get it fixed after FL trip. Oh and your right ............. PERSPECTIVE ............... See you in Daytona, have a safe trip down.
