Micah update
Just got on to check the boards. Micah is at home with me right now (I am at the public library). Friday morning EARLY, Micah was in bed at the hospital. He decided it was time for him to use the toilet. He unhooked his IVs, hopped to the can, and made it back to bed. When the doctors heard about that, they decided it was 'time' to boot his butt out the door.
I took him home Friday evening. He is doing very well. He took himself off all pain meds except ibuprofen.....I think he gets this stubborn streak from his Mom!
Thanks to all who have wished us well. He has a long road ahead of him, but it looks like a bike will be a big part of his road. I will stay home with him until he can get to the refrigerator and toilet on his own-what else does a teenager need???? I will then start back to work and let him recuperate more on his own. He goes back Thursday for more stuff, and will get a new foot at the earliest opportunity. Your prayers are doing a lot for us-thanks, and feel free to continue!
I will keep you informed whenever I can get to a computer.

I think it’s great news that he was able to go off his pain meds. That stuff can really mess you up.
