Man that looks familiar. a little over a year ago I did a top end tear down to replace the head gaskets on 95 Olds Cutlass Supreme. One cylinder was fartin air into the water jacket.

Cars suck... even the blown ones!!!

What was it, the head gasket?

Apparently all of the GM 3.1 and 3.4 V6's blow the Intake Manifold gasket between 50K and 70K. The Halibut is that you have to take soooooo much stuff off to get to it and then it's a 2-part kind of thing so short of popping the heads, it's a top end rebuild.

But hey.. I bought this used last June and we've only put 2800 miles on it since so I doubt I'll be doing it again.
